Hi, not sure if this is the place to ask this question, but.. i dont want anabolic steroids or anything to do with them in my body. a whey protein (NitroTech) said it has anabolic properties i was wondering if this means it has anabolic steroids? There are no steroids in that protein powder. NitroTech is a product sold by an American company and steroids are illegal in the US. The company's website claims that their protein formula "triggers an ababolic environment by optimizing nitrogen retention." Their website continues to say that their forumla is... "powered by Nanomolecular Hyperdispersion Technology™ to overcome whey protein’s inherent limitations. This exclusive technology utilizes nanoparticulated amino acid peptides that are a fraction of the size of regular protein particles for ultrafast absorption. The precise portion of nanoparticulated amino acid peptides found in Nitro-Tech Hardcore are engineered to have an extremely high bioavailability, targeting muscles for light-speed delivery and unparalleled muscle growth." So it's safe to say there are no illegal steroids in the formula, but they claim to create an anabolic effect because, as they claim, the amino acid molecules are so small so they are easily digested by your body. I have no idea how effective this formula is, though. does 100% gold standard whey of optimum nutrition contains steroids or is it a pure form of protein? In the United States, steroids are illegal, except by a doctor's prescription. So, you will never see steroids in any protein powder that is sold in the US. The brand you are asking about is marketed and sold in the US, so it is safe to say there are no steroids in it. Have an idea for this site? Send your feedback. Or... |
